Cakeway to the West A-B

Described as part art exhibit, part scavenger hunt, and part history lesson, Cakeway to the West makes the process of exploring my city much more fun!

AKC Museum of the Dog: Home to the world's finest collection of art devoted to the dog. If you visit, don't forget to bring your four-legged friend!

Barretts Elementary School: A public vote winner, Barretts was the first elementary school in the esteemed Parkway school district. This cake was created by the students.

Loved the mosaic

Blue Owl: Located in historic Kimmswick, founded in 1859, this restaurant and bakery is best known for it's Levee High Apple Pie. You should google a pic!

Blueberry Hill: Landmark restaurant and music club that revitalized the Loop. Chuck Berry performs here every third Wednesday of the month. Tickets sell fast!

Bonhomme Old Stone Church: Site of the 2nd oldest Presbyterian church west of the Mississippi.

Not sure why there were cows,
but they were such happy dancing cows.

Busch Stadium: Home of the St. Louis Cardinals! The St. Louis cardinals are one of the most successful and decorated teams in MLB history, only second in championships to the Yankees. If you can't score a ticket to a game, consider coming to Ballpark Village for some great food and company while you watch the game on a jumbo tron with lots of other fans.

Andy is a diehard Cardinals fan.
I watch baseball because I love Andy.

Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House: Located in West County St. Louis, this 8,000 square foot glass conservatory allows visitors the opportunity to rub shoulders with 60 different species of butterflies. Where something bright! You might get a butterfly to land on you. But if one does land on you, don't freak out!

Located in Faust Park, a nice place for a late summer stroll.
